also, i have seen many Man vs Wild shows that actually show footage of Bear staying the night in the wilderness. Besides, even if the show is fake, it provides valuable information on how to survive horrendous situations that people may be faced with, and at the same time pure entertainment! he obviously still put himself in life threatening situations and eats crude things such as snakes and insects. Since Bear is ex SAS, he has the ability to do these things, and i dont think you can enjoy doing something as much as he does if it is fake. the press just wants to create a believable senario that makes Bear or his show look bad so that they can tell the world and earn big bucks.
